Caledonia Harley Club Handicap Chase

Absolutely bolted up in back-to-back races last spring having been off the track a long time. Returns here from another lengthly absence and gets to race off the same mark as for the last win. Clearly goes well fresh and interesting if money comes.

Looked in need of the run on debut for this yard at Kelso last month. Should come on for that run and has a fair shout based on some of his form in Ireland.

Won well at Bangor two starts back but couldn't follow-up under a penalty at the same venue next time. Raised another 5lbs here which makes life tougher once again but is in good form and hard to dismiss.

Took advantage of a small drop in the weights when winning in really bad ground at Kelso two months ago. Penalty makes life tougher here but has from on this quicker surface so not dismissed.

Overall record under all codes now reads 0/67. Has bits and pieces of form which would mean he could have a squeak of getting involved but hard to win with and passed over.

Run well the last twice (including over C&D) but remains a maiden under rules. Needs to do a little more for win purposes but this is a winnable race and should be on the premises.
