Found this grade a lot more to her liking when upped to 6f earlier in the week despite being slow away. Forged clear in the end and will be suited by this extra furlong returned to the track quickly.

Pedigree suggests that she can do better than her sole start so far which saw her well held on her Windsor debut. Quickly dropped in grade though but should have learnt from that initial start.

Three starts have all looked modest so far and now steps up 2f in trip for this 4th start having been dropped in grade for the last two. Still looks up against it even at this level.

Showed more on her third start dropped down into claiming company for the first time at Beverley. Looks worth a try over further and now steps up 2f in trip and a market move should be noted.

Well beaten so far in claiming and selling grade over 5f with little to recommend her on the evidence of those last two outings. Hopes now pinned on a try over this 7f with her pedigree suggesting it may suit.

Did manage to finish runner-up in a Beverley claimer (5f) when with Mick Channon (last start for that yard). Second outing for this yard over 6f suggested that she was a little better than she showed but work to do with Knockabout Queen.

Forecasts

Knockabout Queen (1/3), Go Annie Go (7/1), Lady Lavinia (9/1), Red Handed (10/1), Claires Choice (28/1), Lexikon (100/1)

Verdict

The entire field are facing a new trip here and that may suit some of them although this isn’t a contest to get too involved with. KNOCKABOUT QUEEN had Red Handed 7L behind at Windsor on Monday night and if a quick return to the track doesn’t hinder her she should maintain her superiority even under a penalty. Lady Lavinia has looked worth a try over this sort of trip and a market check is advised with Claires Choice another who may be able to show more.
  1. Knockabout Queen
  2. Red Handed
  3. Lady Lavinia
