Third at Brighton last time out, the latest in a run of good performances. Has remained on the same mark (7lb claimer now back on board), and goes well over this trip; strongly considered.
Two runs so far this season have left plenty to be desired and seems to be more at home on the AW. Of little interest despite drop down the weights.
Last year's winner but made a low-key appearance in the Spring Lodge on the Rowley Mile back in May, but this is clearly much, much easier on her second start for this yard, and previous form (including over C&D) gives her a chance at placing.
Consistent sort who has only been out of the first three on one of his nine starts so far this year, but not exactly the easiest to win with.
Couple of decent efforts at Brighton the last twice including when behind Pour La Victoire two starts back, but not the most frequent of winners and arguably better over shorter than this.
Runner-up at Yarmouth last time under this rider (when she claimed 2lb more),and looked like his turn could be near again there. One for the shortlist.
First run on the turf since May 2016 and generally seems better on the AW. Best watched despite a fair run at Wolverhapton last time out.
Disappointing when odds-on at Yarmouth last time out, and 3lb rise not exactly ideal, but in good form and return to this trip could well help.
Winner at Yarmouth two starts back but struggled at Brighton on subsequent start. Ground no issue but would probably prefer 7f trip-wise.
Last of all in all three starts in handicap company so far, and even a 5lb drop down the weights makes her tough to build a case for.
Ran well off this mark at Brighton two starts back and return to this trip should help, but could find this level a bit too tough and yet to win in Britain.
Winner at Brighton two starts back but failed to follow up when last of all at Yarmouth the next day. Carries a 6lb penalty for the win here and likely to struggle here.
Forecasts
Pour La Victoire (4/1), Slow To Hand (4/1), Glenn Coco (5/1), King of Dreams (7/1), Trulee Scrumptious (7/1), Spirit Of Sarwan (10/1), Rivers Of Asia (10/1), Lunar Deity (12/1), The Third Man (25/1), Malaysian Boleh (33/1), Captain Sue (40/1), Gulland Rock (50/1)
Lunar Deity has been knocking at the door more often than not over his last few starts, while the consistent Pour La Victoire always needs considering, but preference is for KING OF DREAMS off top-weight. David Simcock's charge ran a nice race in third at Brighton last time out and has been going especially well off a similar marks to this recently, particularly since dropped back down to this trip. He can finally win a handicap here.
- King of Dreams
- Lunar Deity
- Pour La Victoire
