Gone well at this course in the past and in good heart after winning at Roscommon (7f, good) 11 days ago, held over a mile here since but didn't run badly and drop in trip may suit.
Last won on heavy ground here over 7f in October but not been in the same form for a while. Handily weighted but others more convincing.
Beaten 25L when finishing last of 14 in a 6f maiden at Naas last summer in sole turf outing, twice-raced Kodiac colt has plenty to find on bare form of those outings.
Ran his best race for some time when second over 6f at Fairyhouse on good ground last week, clear chance if turning out here in similar mood (entered Leopardstown Thursday evening).
Dandy Man gelding has not convinced in five stars, beaten 30+L in both 2017 runs at Naas and Fairyhouse over similar trip. Returns from an absence and hard to make any case for.
Only three wins (all on the AW) from 67 career starts. Not been in the best of form of late but very capable at this level on his day so any market support would be significant.
Lightly-raced sort, has gone well in a maiden here (7f, soft to heavy) earlier in the spring, ran fair race from a poor draw at Sligo last time. Could be capable of a challenge in this company.
Continues to baffle connections by remaining a maiden after 11 starts, often having been well supported in the betting. Hard to place any faith in having again let favourite-backers down in Roscommon claimer (7f, good) 11 days ago.
Sleeping Indian half-sister to a couple of winners who was well held at Cork (6½f, good to firm) in a maiden on debut for this trainer (second run) five days ago.
Forecasts
It's All A Joke (6/4), Daliyah (4/1), Case Stated (5/1), Fox Dream (5/1), Tennesse Waltz (6/1), Steelriver (25/1), Indian Eye (25/1), Clover Moon (50/1), Get Some (100/1)
IT'S ALL A JOKE is entered late on Thursday evening at Leopardstown but would hold strong claims of landing this based on his runner-up finish at Fairyhouse a week ago, should he turn up. Case Stated has gone well in maidens so far and can be forgiven a lesser effort at Sligo recently from an unappealing draw, whilst Fox Dream has some course form to call upon. Any money coming for Steelriver would be noted.
- It's All A Joke
- Case Stated
- Fox Dream
