Has been a prolific winner in point-to-points of late but showed very little when making his debut in the hunter chase sphere recently. That was a poor effort and although he now returns to his original yard he's opposed here.
His performance at Southwell in December looked to be a career-best and he's not really matched that level in four starts since. Well below form last time at Towcester (far from fluent) and comes here with questions to answer.
There was some promise in his early starts over fences for his former yard but that appears to have faded away now. His latest three starts for his new yard have seen him make little impact and he can't be selected with confidence here.
C&D winner earlier in the month looking unsuited by the steady pace but still running out a ready winner. Building up a good record here (2314) and looked unlucky on his last visit when hampered; finished with running left.
Given a chance by the handicapper last time and duly took his chance although he's not always been one to see his races out in the strongest fashion. Up 5lb for that win but still looks well handicapped although doubts remain about him.
Not straightforward and has his quirks but has shown up well here on several occasions although he's not one that can be totally trusted. Still below his last winning mark and would have a chance if he was on a going day although they can be few.
Turned in his best effort for a while last time out but his overall record in this sphere (2/40) hardly inspires confidence. Out of the weights here and only an outside chance of improving that rather modest record.
