Showed improved form when winning on her second start over hurdles at Towcester (1m7½f, good to firm) last month. Unseated her rider very early on at Newton Abbot just four days ago. Should be more to come over hurdles.
Slowly come to hand this year and got up late on to win a handicap at Towcester (1m7½f, good to firm) last month. Drops back into novice company here. She can be a bit free but she is battle hardened now. May find one or two of these too strong.
Made a winning handicap debut in a 2m1f contest at Cheltenham (good) in April before going close back in novice company last time. They are the two best pieces of form on offer here and she is likely to go very well once more.
Three starts in bumpers so far, big prices and beaten a long way in each of them. Hurdling debut today that requires a lot more and interesting to see how she takes to it.
Pulled up in a bumper on sole start for Ron Hodges and well beaten in a novices' selling hurdle at Stratford (good) on debut for current yard. Not much better on last start at Newton Abbot and handicaps likely to be more suitable on the back of this
Offered very little to work on in three starts over hurdles so far. She's in good hands though and chances are she will come good sooner rather than later, maybe in handicaps. Yard have stronger claims with Stylish Dancer.
Bumper winner that has largely gone off the boil since that victory. Her two starts over hurdles have both been pretty poor but we know from her bumper form she is capable. Tongue-tie goes on today and capable of better.
Was placed in a bumper last September but it has been a tail of woe since. Beaten 37L when never a factor on hurdles debut at Newton Abbot two weeks ago. Should be capable of better than that based on bumper form but impossible to fancy.
Average performer on the flat but has shaped like she may be a little better over hurdles. Her runs at Catterick and Wetherby both had promise but she was ultimately very disappointing on handicap debut at Perth last time and needs to bounce back.
Had five starts on the flat and didn't cut much ice (rated 47). Had almost a year off the track and has moved to a powerful yard for her first crack over hurdles. Interesting to see what the market makes of her.
Forecasts
Stylish Dancer (8/13), Sue Be It (3/1), Passing Dream (7/1), Hazy Manor (12/1), Rosie Lea (25/1), Hoover Fever (25/1), Midnight Aurora (50/1), Shadow's Girl (50/1), Flow From Devon (50/1), Blazing Gold (125/1)
This is very likely to go the way of one of the three previous winners in the race over hurdles. Passing Dream unseated her rider at only the second flight just four days ago and still has plenty of potential. Sue Be It knuckled down to win well at Towcester last time and is slowly getting to grips with the game. They both may struggle to keep tabs on STYLISH DANCER though who brings the two strongest pieces of form to the table and should be pretty tough to beat here.
- Stylish Dancer
- Passing Dream
