Smart bumper performer who made a very nice hurdling debut at Newton Abbot two weeks ago when travelling strongly through the race and easing away to win nicely. Penalty to carry here but every chance of going in again and making it 2/2 over hurdles
Second and third in two point to points last summer before sold for £30,000. Improved markedly from hurdles debut to win nicely on second start over timber at Exeter (2m1f, good) last month. Penalty to carry here but plenty more to come and a danger
Well beaten in a couple of bumpers and it was a similar story on hurdling debut when beaten 52L by Grageelagh Girl at Newton abbot two weeks ago. Impossible to turn that form around on that evidence and others much preferred.
Promise so far in both her sole bumper run and her first effort over hurdles at Ludlow last month. Ultimately needs to do much better to be involved at the business end but highly likely there will be some improvement in her at some stage.
Very modest in five flat starts (well beaten of a mark of 45). Makes hurdling debut today and would need to be vastly better for hurdling to be involved.
Cost just £650 as a three-year-old and struggled in three starts in bumpers. Shaped with much more promise on her first start over hurdles at Southwell (1m7½f, good) when shaping like a bit further would help. Place claims if building on that.
50/1 and well beaten on sole bumper run back in October. Makes hurdling debut today and best watched unless the market screams her name.
Has shown a glimmer of ability in her four starts in bumpers to date. Would need to improve plenty to be involved at the business end here though on hurdling debut.
Fair performer at times on the flat when with James Bethell. Last seen winning a handicap at Chelmsford back in August. Had a wind operation and has moved to a powerful yard for her hurdling debut. Yard do well with this type and respected.
Bought for £12,000 after winning a claimer at Catterick on the flat last month. Hampered a couple of times on hurdling debut at Southwell last time and the cheekipeces that went on there are left off today. Capable of better in this sphere.
Forecasts
Grageelagh Girl (4/9), Tillythetank (3/1), Conistone (7/1), Darlyn (14/1), Riviere Argentee (20/1), Fifty Peach Way (22/1), Yalla Habibti (66/1), Dancing Hearts (100/1), Di's Pride (100/1), Gamboling Gigi (100/1)
An intriguing contest with one or two mares with potential lining up. GRAGEELAGH GIRL was a smart bumper performer and she won with considerable ease on her hurdling debut. She has the ability to go quite far in this game and is taken to remain unbeaten over hurdles. Tillythetank showed much improved form to win at Exeter last time and is respected. Money for Conistone on hurdling debut for Dan Skelton could be significant as she could take well to this game.
