Horse silk
33/1
Well beaten and never nearer in three career bumpers between July and October last year. Chance to win one of these appears to have past.
2
Horse silk
8/1
Well held in four career bumper starts and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
3
Horse silk
7/2
Beaten favourite last time out in a Listowel bumper when a disappointing fifth of seven when last seen in September. Plenty of patience appears to have been shown to the mare and likely to improve for leading trainer/jockey combination.
4
Horse silk
16/1
Beaten a long way in three bumpers in her career to date including a 32L defeat on stable debut last month. Plenty to prove in this contest.
Nothing of any note in two desolate bumper displays to date and easily dismissed in first-time tongue-tie in this company.
Daughter of September Storm out of a Roselier mare related to Alan Kings game and genuine mare Mia's Storm. Market likely to reveal expectations on racecourse debut.
Daughter of Beat Hollow out of a Presenting mare related to hardy sorts Wicklow Brave and Cinders And Ashes. Eye catching second of 12 beaten 5½L on debut in a Tramore bumper earlier this month. Another bold show likely.
Well bred daughter of Robin Des Champs out of a Sleeping Car mare related to enduring types in Vautour and Quevega. Plenty to like about debut at Tramore recently and entitled to make the shortlist here.
Robin Des Pres filly out of a Abednego mare. Poor in sole point-to-point start last month and likely to need the experience here.
Milan filly out of a Mondrian mare. Well held in two point-to-point starts in April. Hard to place any faith in here.
Runner up in two bumper starts last month and is sure to improve on those couple of runs landing the closing race.

Forecasts

The Caddy Rose (7/4), Koroleva (7/2), Boragh Beat (4/1), Carrie Des Champs (7/1), Hollow Crest (8/1), Melior (16/1), My Peggy (20/1), Rhythm Divine (28/1), Court Attire (33/1), Comewatmay (50/1), Zara's Pride (66/1)

Verdict

THE CADDY ROSE has shown plenty of spark only to be beaten by potentially decent sorts in two bumper starts last month and can continue improvement in this company to land the closing race of the day for trainer Noel Meade. Koroleva for the leading bumper pair of Willie and Patrick Mullins are the obvious dangers along with the likable Boragh Beat, second of 15 on debut at Tramore. Potential improver Carrie Des Champs is worthy of much consideration following an encouraging debut run recently.
  1. The Caddy Rose
  2. Boragh Beat
  3. Koroleva
