Will have disappointed connections in two starts recently but the stable usually do well at this meeting and is worth a market check.
Has not found life easy in his last four handicap hurdle starts including a 4¾L defeat at Wexford last month. Will need to raise overall performance to play a role here.
Out of sorts when last seen over hurdles in May last year but acts on the ground and first-time cheekpieces could assist now racing 7lb lower than his last winning mark.
Well held in two hurdle starts though he was out of his depth at Killarney last month. May have to settle for a place this time round.
Distance winner in a Limerick maiden hurdle in April breaking his maiden tag at the seventh time of asking. Consistent sort but may have to wait for his mark to come down a little.
C&D winner here last August in just his third maiden hurdle start. Well beaten in four handicaps over timber since and well below par form looks set to continue here.
Course winner that has also won over this trip at Clonmel earlier this month when travelling strongly before going on to win by 14L. Acts on the ground but 10lb hike in the weights has to be a concern.

12-race maiden over hurdles and deserves a change of luck given some of his performances including a third of 13 earlier this month in a Kilbeggan maiden over 2m. Place claims.
Had Killarney Court 4L behind him when winning a Wexford handicap hurdle last month and entitled to make the shortlist even off a 7lb higher mark.
52-rated handicapper on the Flat and a game 119-rated hurdler for previous connections when last seen in April 2016. Watching brief on return to the track.
