Yard an obvious threat to all and this 400,000 gns yearling has to be given the utmost respect despite failing to get off the mark in five previous attempts. Eased when last seen, so does need to prove his well being. The market can guide.

Yard doing well despite struggling for winners - this fellow showed improved form last time out when third at Gowran Park but has a bit to prove now upped in trip again.

Improved to win a tough looking handicap at Roscommon last week and created the impression that an extra furlong won't be a problem. Has fitness on his side and likely to post another bold effort.

Very consistent profile and has shaped as if at least a mile and a half will suit her in time. Possibly spoilt her chances with a slow start last time, so no surprise to see more forceful tactics employed. Another that has to be taken seriously.

Not achieved much in four starts so far and has a bit to prove upped another furlong after a moderate effort last time. Others more appealing.

Shown bits of promise but was well held over 1m latest and lacked a change of gear at a crucial stage. Possible this step up in trip will suit but the Maxios filly has a stiff test ahead on the form already in the book.

Forecasts

Dawn Hoofer (2/1), Dream Point (2/1), Christopher Robin (7/2), Moktamel (7/1), Lustful (10/1), Havingagoodtime (66/1)

Verdict

The can rest between Christopher Robin, who steps up to a more appropriate trip after a modest effort at Chester last month, and DAWN HOOFER, who showed a willing attitude to win at Roscommon last week and just edges the vote of confidence this time around. Dermot Weld's charge has willing attitude and appeals as a punters' choice in the finale. Dream Point, who has done very little wrong, can push them all the way and will make this a good test if she breaks on terms this time.
  1. Dawn Hoofer
  2. Christopher Robin
  3. Dream Point
