Popular veteran who won this event 12-months ago beating six rivals off a 2lb lower mark. Tough ask in a tougher contest.
Won a Down Royal handicap chase over 2m3½f in good style last month and another bold show is possibly likely but has a harsh looking 9lb penalty to contend with.
Veteran of 30 chase start where the gelding has won seven of them including at Tipperary over 2m1f last may. Could struggle off a mark still 7lb higher than his last win.
Winner of one of his 10 chase starts and the losing run dates back to last July. Hard to make a case for the gelding here still 9lb higher than last winning mark .
Nothing of any note in three chase starts to date including a 22L defeat at Down Royal last month over 2m3½f on good ground. Others hold stronger profiles and difficult to see what difference first-time cheekpieces will make.
Veteran of eight chase starts and looking to get off the mark at the ninth time of asking but has shown plenty of encouragement in two starts recently and has place claims at least.
Popular veteran and distance winner who acts on the ground but chase form is clearly in free-fall now chasing off a 15lb lower mark than his last win.
C&D winner here last month in a handicap chase on good ground beating 12 rivals ½L and another bold show looks likely despite 6lb hike for the win. Yard have a good record at this meeting.
Talented point-to-pointer/chaser, though slightly disappointing when pulled up in a point in February before well held in a Down Royal hunter chase when last seen in March. Not fully ruled out but a couple of below-par runs to shake off.
Five-race chase maiden and well held here last month in a 2m3½f beginners chase on good ground finishing third of 14 but beaten 25l. Place claims at best.
Point-to-point winner and hunter chase second but requires a chunk of improvement to play a role here in this company.

Goodthynemilan (4/1), Burndown (9/2), Fenlon's Hill (5/1), Dorkas (6/1), Gunfire Reef (6/1), Jack The Wire (7/1), Bosco Di Alco (10/1), Cecil Corbett (12/1), B C's Pride (12/1), Quiet Account (16/1), Capture The Drama (20/1), Archie Meade (20/1)
The Henry De Bromhead-trained BURNDOWN can take the contest here for Gigginstown House Stud building on a couple of substantial handicap chase performances at Punchestown and Kilbeggan recently. Dorkas was a C&D winner here last month in a handicap chase on good ground beating 12 rivals ½L and can put up another bold show despite 6lb hike for the win while the gutsy Quiet Account and Gunfire Reef a third of 14 here last month can duel for the remaining place.

- Quiet Account
