0/5 over hurdles for Charlie Mann including when pulled up on handicap debut at Taunton (3m, good) last time. Starts life for a new yard that do particularly well with this type today and plenty of improvement would not surprise.
Just about her best effort so far when fourth on handicap debut at Worcester (2m7f, good) two weeks ago. That was a step in the right direction, rider claims a handy 5lbs which helps. Had wind problems in the past so the finishing effort is key.
Upped her game to finish second on handicap debut at Taunton before unable to back that up off this 5lb higher mark at Ffos Las last time. Progress is unlikely to have halted just yet and a player with a tongue tie added and Richard Johnson on board
Has clearly had some issues with her wind and had a wind operation before making her debut for this yard. There was a glimmer last time at Worcester (2m7f, good) that she's not far away and she is so well handicapped now, a market check is needed
Big prices and beaten a long way on all three starts back in early 2016. Been off the course for over two years and very likely to need the run on handicap debut. Best watched.
Won a maiden hurdle at Worcester back in 2016 but is has been a tale of woe since. Slipping in the weights as a result but finishing effort was pretty tame last time and hard to fancy until showing more.
Opening mark was probably based around finishing second in a weak race at Southwell last summer. Three runs in handicaps have amounted to nothing and has quickly dropped down the weights. May have needed latest run but much more needed.
Showed the benefit of wind surgery with two solid efforts the last twice. Winning at Taunton before going very close at Warwick last time. Up another 4lbs which makes life tougher but is thriving at present which is more than can be said for most.
Brighton winner in 2016 but has offered little since on the Flat and over hurdles. Only second start for this yard and is tumbling down the weights but needs a major revival in form here.
Winner at Worcester off 1lb lower in July last year. Been beaten a very long way all starts since and doesn't look upto winning. Positive jockey booking though having bombed out at Worcester three days ago.
Won here over 2m4f back in November off a 5lb lower mark. Largely struggled since but should strip fitter from recent spin and Aidan Coleman keeps the faith.

Anndarrow (11/4), Western Breeze (4/1), Cockley Beck (4/1), Welcome Polly (6/1), Outrageous Romana (7/1), Hollow Park (7/1), Tir Dubh (10/1), Jennifer Juniper (11/1), Martha's Benefit (16/1), Amber Flush (20/1), Onehelluvatouch (25/1), Barely Black (33/1), Bringewood Blue (66/1)
Money for either of the Dan Skelton trained pair of Western Breeze or Welcome Polly would be significant, particularly for the latter who makes her first start for the yard today. Hollow Park has been in cracking form which counts for a lot in these events and should go well again. Preference is for COCKLEY BECK who is another that has been running well and should be cherry ripe for this now having run so well at Perth last time.
- Cockley Beck
- Welcome Polly
- Hollow Park
