Showed plenty of promise on his sole outing as a juvenile and realised that promise at Chester last month. Overcame some trouble in-running to win with plenty to spare quickening clear nicely; forged clear, good chance under a penalty.
Offered very little on his AW debut at the end of last year over 7f when slowly away and failing to get on terms with the principals. With a good yard and the chances are he will do better this year but takes a leap of faith to support.
Looks to be being brought along steadily and it may well be that connections have handicaps in mind for him after this run (his third). Failed to progress from his debut behind Caradoc last time and would be a surprise winner.
Has a pedigree that makes some appeal and shaped quite nicely on his AW debut at Newcastle. Showed plenty of ability there although he did look as though that run would bring him on; finished third, improvement very likely.
Produced a very promising first effort (started favourite) over 7f at Wolverhampton only going down narrowly to one with more experience. Likely to improve for that run and having travelled well should be suited by a switch to turf; leading player.
Despite the good record of the trainer here this one has so far shown very little in two starts separated by almost a year off. Will be doing well to compete in this and looks the sort to do better in low-grade handicaps.

Caradoc (13/8), Swiss Knight (7/4), Mount Ararat (9/4), Croque Monsieur (12/1), Lopito (33/1), Licinius (66/1), Fanciful Miss (100/1)
At least three decent types in this and one of those Caradoc might just have trouble conceding the penalty that he gained for his Chester win here with two unpenalised promising types waiting in the wings. The pick of those may well be SWISS KNIGHT who was only beaten by a narrow margin on his debut and that form has already been franked. Mount Ararat is the other once-raced type who looks as though he’ll step forward on his initial effort with Croque Monsieur another who has shown promise and could put in a much more forward showing here.
