May improve for change of scenery but evidence would indicate he is better on softer ground. Also likely to need the run.
Now a 16-race maiden but has the ability to win a race if things fall right. Best effort came under this rider so one to consider off a career low mark and a more suitable trip than last time.
Former French Flat racer who achieved nothing over hurdles when last seen in the 2015-16 season. In good hands but still hard to see him having a say.
Hints every so often that he might be able to win a race but is a feint-hearted sort who finds winning hard. Form has deteriorated this year and usual headgear is removed.
Was 5lb out of the handicap when producing a career best on first run over this trip here. Handicapper has not overreacted and this looks a much easier task.
Always travelling well when blinkers had a positive effect at Perth. 8lb below his last winning Flat mark and of obvious interest given his proven wellbeing and with conditions to suit.
19-race maiden is returning from wind surgery and five months on the sidelines. Hard to find him attractive based on what he has shown.
Forecasts
Auxiliary (5/2), Rosemay (5/2), Granite City Doc (7/2), Titus Bolt (6/1), Falcon's Fire (10/1), Hellavashock (11/1), Pariyan (33/1)
TITUS BOLT benefitted from a typically quiet Brian Hughes ride and the fitting of blinkers to score over hurdles recently. His best form on the Flat has been at Musselburgh, but he is potentially thrown in here now that connections have found the key. Rosemay deserves to win one and the booking of Joe Fanning looks significant given her best run came under him, whilst Granite City Doc produced a career best over C&D and the handicapper has given him a chance.
- Titus Bolt
- Rosemay
- Granite City Doc
