Showed slightly more on his latest start at Market Rasen in January (2m2f+ soft), but on the whole his form doesn't exactly stack up, so shouldn't be good enough.
Runner up on each of his last two starts (beaten by odds on favourites), and evidently no world beater, but definite shortlist material over this longer trip in a weak race now fitted with cheekpieces.
Poor for Eugene Stanford, but better on his second start for this trainer at Worcester latest (2m7f soft) when admittedly a comfortably held third of seven to Orchard Thieves; more needed.
Shown ability in novice company (thrice placed; 2m5f to 3m) and has had wind surgery since his handicap debut at Ludlow in April. Quicker ground could be helpful in a very weak race.

A gilt-edged opportunity for one of the five runners to break the maiden tag, and the likeliest candidate is surely the first time cheek-pieced EQUUS FLIGHT. He looks short on tactical speed, so the step up in trip should suit and don't be at all surprised if Sean Bowen seeks to make this a solid test from the front. The Devils Drop is the most obvious danger back from recent wind surgery.
