Finally dropped below last winning mark (Windsor in October) but form of late has not suggested that her turn is near. Need to see more positive signs before coming of interest.
Won in a tight finish at Windsor (1m3½f, good) two starts back off a 2lb lower mark. Couldn't follow that effort up over the same C&D next time (behind Falcon Cliffs) but hard to discount here if bouncing back to her best.
Made a pleasing start for this yard on return at Windsor last time when she had Voi behind. Goes well fresh so not guaranteed to back that up, but if she does she'll be bang in the mix.
Pleasing return to action on just second start in a handicap at Brighton (1m2f, good to soft) last month. Winner of that race won a Group 3 at York next time and every chance she can be very competitive here.
Hard to know what to expect here having been beaten a very long way on last start back in July 2017. Likely she has had a few issues but has several entries so market check is advised.
Been running consistently well over hurdles this winter & spring. Her win on the level came under very similar conditions and she's not on a bad mark. Should be in the shake up.
Forecasts
Caravela (7/4), Falcon Cliffs (7/2), Voi (4/1), Hidden Steps (5/1), The Jean Genie (10/1), Cubswin (12/1)
Cubswin has been running well over hurdles and is very much respected under ideal conditions. Falcon Cliffs will be a danger to all if coming on for her first run when finishing ahead of Voi. CARAVELA ran well on return in a strong race for the track at Brighton last time and she can now take advantage of what may turn out to be a lenient mark.
