Bounced back to form with an excellent effort at Stratford (2m6f, good) three weeks ago. Nudged up a couple of pounds for that but best form comes with cut in the ground so could be vulnerable once again as a result.
Recorded his fifth win under Rules when successful at Southwell (3m, good) over fences in November. Shaped with promise back from a break at Warwick last time and this previous C&D winner has a big shout.
Improved efforts of late and went close when staying on well in a better grade than this last time. Slightly shorter trip here is a concern but he goes well for his rider.
Upped in trip for his first run for this yard he got back to winning ways at Stratford although he was suited by the way the race developed. 6lbs higher here but this race is no stronger and a good chance to go in again.
Having been out of form everything clicked big time at Southwell (3m, good) last month when winning as easily as he liked. Handed a 9lb rise in the weights for that win and this is a better race. Not the obvious type to follow-up
Struggles to get his head in front but generally runs his race off this sort of mark. Starts life for David Pipe today and cheekpieces go on for the firs time.
Popped up to win a seller here at 25/1 last July. Not much to shout about since however and likely to find this tough going once again.
Won well at Bangor (2m7f, good) off a 7lb lower mark back in October. Found marks in the 90's troublesome in the past. This is his second run on the back of a wind operation and the cheekpieces go on.
Quickly been dropped a total of 10lb after two poor efforts in handicaps so far. Hard to see he being competitive on what we have seen so far. Cheekpieces on first time.
Improved for the step up in trip over C&D when finishing well for second last month. All of his form comes with cut in the ground so interesting to see how he goes on this better surface.
Winner over C&D off a 1lb lower mark last July. It's been a tail of woe side though and hopes are pinned on a return to this C&D having a positive effect.
Uninspiring stuff of late and was beaten when being brought down at Ludlow last time. Needs to do much more to be involved here.
Veteran who has managed to win just once in 53 career starts (April 2014), and looks to have next to no chance from so far out of the weights.

Forecasts
Mr Mafia (11/4), Dotties Dilema (9/2), Eaton Miller (9/2), Flying Verse (10/1), Walter Oneeightone (10/1), Indian Reel (11/1), The Mad Well (14/1), Amber Flush (16/1), Ring Eye (20/1), Ardmillan (20/1), Robin De Broome (20/1), Monsart (33/1), Culm Counsellor (33/1), Howaboutnever (50/1), Exit To Freedom (100/1)
Last time out winners Mr Mafia and Flying Verse both come into this with sound claims although the former has the more obvious chance to follow-up. The Mad Well would be of interest should any rain fall. Eaton Miller could be a big player if he takes to the better ground today. The selection though is for DOTTIES DILEMA to record another C&D success. He shaped with real promise at Warwick last time and comes here with sounds claims.
- Dotties Dilema
- Mr Mafia
- Eaton Miller
