C&D winner and good enough for this standard of race at his best, but mostly poor efforts over the past year (with one or two exceptions). Starting to look attractively handicapped but could only be of interest should the money come.
Form has tailed off somewhat of late but is starting to look attractively handicapped as a result. Better effort last time on the back of a wind operation and would be of minor interest if he can build on that.
Been in fair form of late and ran well when second at Wincanton (2m5½f, good) last time. Would have been closer but for an effort at the last there and jumping hasn't been fluent. Richard Johnson booked and sure to go well.
Good ground Uttoxeter maiden hurdle winner over 2m4f last July and some fair efforts in defeat since. Just getting into contention when falling at Warwick last time and a player here is jumping better.
Bumper winner who has taken time to come to hand over hurdles. Shaped a little better when upped to this trip last time and dropped 2lb for that. Likely to be winning sooner rather than later and conditions fine.
Form has tailed off somewhat of late but likes it here. Always up against it after an early mistake last time and is better than that. Needs to bounce back but mark is falling.
Only had two starts for this yard and they have inherited a well handicapped horse. Didn't seem to stay the 2m7f trip last time and this trip much more his bag. Market move could be significant.
Mostly been running in hunter chases of late but returned to handicap company at Newton Abbot last month and was beaten a long way. Similar story on the cards here.
Form has really tailed off in 2018 but is now 10lb lower than his last winning mark as a result. Likely to take advantage at some stage, if not today.
Only two runs so far this year, one in a jumpers bumper and one on bad ground. Much more at home on a sound surface and is on a nice mark. Every chance of a bold showing with conditions to suit.
Still yet to win a handicap, and not seen on a racecourse since October. Has run well off this mark in the past, but entitled to need the run.
Often travels well but now 0-17 over hurdles and the lack of a response to pressure is off-putting. Cheekpieces go on in an attempt to eek out a bit more.
Forecasts
Alcock And Brown (10/3), Bright Tomorrow (9/2), Royal Ruby (11/2), Burrows Lane (6/1), Querry Horse (7/1), Solstalla (14/1), Milord (14/1), Theydon Park (16/1), Stonemadforspeed (20/1), No No Mac (25/1), Mont Royale (33/1), Mr Satco (40/1)
Plenty of these are regressing but are on attractive marks on their best form as a result. Mont Royale fits that profile perfectly and would be a big player if bouncing back to his best. Querry Horse could improve on his second run since a wind operation. Any kind of market move for No No Mac should be noted. The selection is STONEMADFORSPEED who has been very lightly raced over the winter due to the bad ground and has ideal conditions here today.
