Finally broke his maiden at the twelfth attempt at Ripon (1m, good to firm) last week. Up 6lbs for that but battle on well and is on the upgrade.
7f Gowran maiden winner (yielding) in July, on her third start. nothing really went right when tried over a mile at Newmarket (good to firm) last time and has been dropped 2lbs. Will all click at some point and has a good draw to attack.
Form suggests he likes a bit of cut in the ground so any rain would be very much welcomed. Struggled off this mark at Musselburgh last time and a similar story likely here unless the rains come.
Did really well to win at Leicester (7f, heavy) considering how hard he pulled through the race. Very different conditions here under a 4lb penalty and unlikely to get away with those antics here. Needs to settle better.
Landed a couple last autumn for Clive Cox when fitted with a visor. This is his trip and the cheekpieces go on for the first time having dropped to his last winning mark. Player.
Held in all three runs in novice events so far (including C&D last time). Starts life in handicaps off a fair mark and yard like to have winners here. Market check advised.
