Winner over C&D on her second start and a very good second back on turf last time. Has progressed on all three runs and should be competitive again on handicap debut.

This will probably prove to be her trip and there was a lot to like about her breakthrough win over it on just her fourth start. She travelled strongly on handicap debut and won despite greenness late on.

Good fourth in valuable handicap at the end of last season. Returned with a second when not disgraced back in maiden company at HQ. First-time blinkers on, should be in the mix but the most exposed of these.

Ran really well on soft ground which wouldn't have necessarily suited following a C&D win. Respected on handicap debut with more to come on this surface.

Hasn't really progressed from debut second and poorest run of her career on reappearance. Respected for leading trainer but needs to take a significant step forwards.

Disappointing on turf following previous career best at Beverley. Won on debut here over 6f and worth a try back at this track. However needs to lift in first-time cheekpieces.

Took a big step forwards on her fourth start when unlucky to find trouble in running. Taking into her account her greenness she has loads more to offer and despite running from 1lb out of the handicap she should go close.

Forecasts

Gilded Hour (5/2), Dance On The Day (11/4), Ziarah (4/1), Dutch Monarch (5/1), Procedure (8/1), Point Hope (10/1), Swiss Belle (33/1)

Verdict

Gilded Hour is up 5lb for her handicap debut win but the style suggests there's more improvement in her to overcome such a rise. Ziarah perhaps has less improvement to come but a repeat of the level she's shown will see her go well. Dance On The Day keeps taking steps forwards and rates a clear danger while Point Hope should also progress again back at this track. Slight preference in an open race is for DUTCH MONARCH who was very unfortunate in the run last time and when everything falls right is open to significant improvement.
  1. Dutch Monarch
  2. Gilded Hour
  3. Dance On The Day
