Daughter of Equiano has had two starts so far over 5&6f at Yarmouth. Big prices on both occasions and well held. Likely to improve once in handicaps on the back of this.
Speedily-bred sort by Showcasing. A half-sister to 5f two-year-old Group 2 winner Heartache there are some useful sorts on the dam's side; one to note in market.
Kuroshio filly. Seventh foal; half-sister to Abbaye winner Tangerine Trees as well as smart performers Alpha Delphini and Masai Moon. Dam was unraced. Interesting type on paper and market should be a good guide to expectations on debut.
Tamayuz filly. Related to several winners at various levels. Dam was a winner over 6f & 7f including a Group 3 and is a sister to Group 2 winner Haatef. Yards runners tend to come on a bundle for their first run, but market check needed.
Mayson filly who's price rose from 21,000 gns as a foal to £62,000 as a two-year-old. Sixth foal and several winners in the family. Dam was a winner over 1m½f. Yard having an excellent season with their juveniles and likely to know her job.
Trainer going well at the moment and 1/10 with juveniles this year; half-sister to 5f AW winner Nomorecalls. Dam 7f juvenile winner and one of the more likely types on debut.
Made an encouraging start to her career when taking 4th at Ascot (about 2L ahead of Collect Call). 6f seemed to stretch her a touch at Windsor (good to firm) on second start and drop back to minimum trip looks a good idea. Should go well again.
Stable yet to produce a two-year-old winner this season but capable of producing a decent type on debut and are in good form. Daughter of Swiss Spirit has plenty of speed in pedigree and shouldn't be dismissed.
Zebedee filly that cost 7,500 gns as a yearling. Fifth foal that is related to several winners. Dam was unplaced in two starts over 1m2f and is a half-sister to Breeders Cup Juvenile winner Vale Of York. Stable also run Mersey so market check needed
Beautifully bred daughter of Dubawi. Cost 500,000 gns as a yearling. Several winners in the family. Dam was a Grade 1 winner in the US over 1m2f out of a 1m two-year-old Group 1 winner. Lots to like on paper although may need further in time.
500,000 gns breeze-up filly byMore Than Ready. Sent off odds-on favourite for debut at Goodwood (6f, good) when never travelling and well beaten in a race won by a potentially smart filly. Should be capable of better than that and cheekpieces go on.

Forecasts
Sabai Sabai (5/2), Satisfying (7/2), Zalpa (4/1), Mersey (11/2), Heartwarming (6/1), Collect Call (7/1), Kurious (9/1), Vivionn (11/1), Munaajaat (14/1), Time For Bed (33/1), Riverwing (50/1), Superstition (66/1), Equiano Perle (100/1)
Some nice types on show for the opener and as always the market will give us a good guide to expectations. Newmcomers Sabai Sabai, Munaajaat and especially Vivionn are all likely types and a strong market move for any of them could be significant. ZALPA cost a fortune though and everything went wrong for her on debut at Goodwood. She is clearly thought better of that and with the cheekpieces added, can make it second time lucky.
- Zalpa
- Vivionn
- Munaajaat
