Has the best recent form in the race, that being a close fourth in good company at Wincanton last time out, a late mistake not helping his cause. Jockey will be all out to ride a winner on his retirement day, and it may well be this one.
Bumper winner at Worcester on debut, although that form isn't working out particularly well, and questions to answer after refusing to settle on hurdles debut last time and finishing well beaten.
Some useful sorts in the family, dam being a half-sister to the top-class Barber Shop, and he showed enough on his debut at Kempton (in a bumper) to think he will have a future at the game. Hurdles debut here though, so needs to jump fluently.
Hasn't shown anywhere near enough in three starts to think he's going to be up to challenging for the top prizes here and will be one for handicaps further down the line.
Led them for a fair way at Warwick last time but was easily enough beaten off once the pace lifted. Needs plenty more here and looks to have little chance.
Forecasts
Amirr (1/1), Lyndsays Lad (7/4), Blue N Yellow (6/1), Out For Justice (14/1), Swarez (66/1), Pharaway View (100/1)
This could be the chance for Andrew Thornton to get his final day winner, with AMIRR looking to hold a decent chance of scoring. A repeat of his recent Wincanton fourth may be good enough. Lyndseys Lad and Blue N Yellow look the likely dangers, with the former having his hurdles debut today.
