Forecasts
Rotherhithe (11/8), Jonboy (3/1), Warton (4/1), Battle Commence (7/1), It's Never Enough (11/1), Jazz Magic (20/1), Thunder Buddy (33/1), First Breath (33/1), Cobbler Quinn (40/1), Burns Supper (80/1), Princess Apollo (100/1)
A poor race in which Rotherhithe is a leading player on juvenile form for her new trainer Richard Fahey, but equally she's clearly not straightforward so we'll look elsewhere. Battle Commence shaped with some minor encouragement on his seasonal reappearance at Thirsk in April so holds obvious place claims, but a more likely winner (despite the draw) is JONBOY. He's been here twice previously and handles the track; just never able to get competitive over 5f last month in a deep looking Class 2 Conditions Stakes.
- Jonboy
- Rotherhithe
- Battle Commence
