Acts on the ground but generally well held in the last four of his six chase starts to date and others preferred.
Disappointed on both starts over the larger obstacles falling on debut at Listowel before finishing fifth of 11 when last seen at Fairyhouse in October. Improvement possible in this company.
Failed to finish any of his three maiden hurdle starts when last seen in 2016. Looks well out of his depth here on return to the track. First-time tongue-tie added.
Modest Flat performer for trainer Brian Meehan and unseated at the first following a mistake here in April on return to the track after an 18-month absence. Worth a market check.
Improving 129-rated hurdler who finished second of 11 beaten 6L making no impression on the winner in a Killarney beginners chase last month. Improvement will be expected here for powerful owners.
Without a win in 13 starts over hurdles for previous yard. Market likely to reveal expectations on chasing debut for new connections.
14 race maiden and well beaten when falling three out on chasing debut in a Fairyhouse beginners contest in October. Well held in a couple of hurdle starts since and readily opposable here.

HARDBACK jumped slickly and with plenty of enthusiasm on chasing debut finishing second of 11 eventually beaten 6L behind Le Martalin on yielding ground at Killarney last month. Improvement can be expected the Gigginstown Stud owned seven-year-old who can see off the attentions of the Willie Mullins-trained Pravalagune and Kagney from the Noel Meade yard who look the best of the rest in a contest that wont take a lot of winning.
