Solid and consistent on the AW at Dundalk during the winter and put in an encouraging run in a handicap hurdle at Down Royal last month. Ticks a lot of boxes here.

Ridden towards the rear of the field for most of the 2m in a Fairyhouse novice handicap hurdle in April and needs to return to the form of his Sligo win here in famous colours.

Course winner that has won over the distance without a win in 10 hurdle starts and well held in his last five starts Flat and jumps since the turn of the year. May find one or two quicker again.

12/1
C&D winner in a 2m maiden hurdle on good ground back in June 2016 off a similar mark. Struggles of late could be forgotten here and worth a market watch.

Won over C&D in September 2015 in a 2m maiden hurdle but has been generally well held since returning to the track since April following a 20-month absence. Hard to fancy on recent evidence.

Course winner that has also won over this trip showed plenty of promise in a 2m4f Wexford handicap hurdle last month when headed at the last to finish third of 14. May hit the frame once again.

Nothing of note in two hurdle starts last month and remains on one from 15 over timber. This looks a tough ask.

Verdict

Solid and consistent in his last four starts over hurdles KONIG HALL deserves a change of luck following on from his third of 14 beaten 5L in a Down Royal handicap over 2m last month. The 10-year-old goes well on the ground, over the trip and has place form at the track. The son of Halling can land the spoils here seeing off the attentions of Toor General and C&D winner Comehere Hi who can hit the frame.
  1. Konig Hall
