Consistent for her former yard but returns from a long absence and needs to prove her well being after a wind operation. Task complicated by top weight makes this a tough one to call her.
Not won since her point-to-pointing days but shown a good level of consistency and arrives here in the back of a couple of very solid efforts at Uttoxter and Southwell. A versatile type, the mare is on a handy mark and merits serious consideration.
Still lightly raced and started to prove her worth with a sound run at Doncaster latest (form franked since). Up in trip here but coped when sent out point-to-points and is a leading contender here.
Back on a handy mark after a string of modest efforts. Can make the running but, having had a wind operation since last seen, she will need to better her recent form by quite some way to rediscover the winning path.
Stays well and although behind Little Millie when they met last time out, the mare is weighted to get closer time. The six-year-old has sound claims of reversing the form and can ensure there is no let up in the tempo at least.
Former point-to-point winner but has failed to convince stamina-wise since switching to racing under rules. Steps up significantly in trip after a modest effort over 2m and is probably best watched.
Relatively unexposed but her best form leaves a little to be desired from her current mark. Running well until falling last time out but still has a bit to prove.
History of reported wind problems and comes into this with a risky profile for win only purposes. Place claims at best on recent efforts.
Posted a poor effort after a wind operation on debut for her current yard. Has undergone more surgery since than and plenty to prove having been pulled up in three of her last six starts.
Joined her current yard after a successful debut in a point-to-point. Not really looked like adding to her tally since then, the seven-year-old is easy to leave out of the betting plans on this occasion.
Forecasts
Little Millie (3/1), Rosie McQueen (9/2), Tikk Tock Boom (5/1), Timeforben (6/1), Grace Tara (6/1), Western Breeze (8/1), Mac Bella (12/1), Jennifer Juniper (20/1), Via Volupta (25/1), Stupid Cupid (40/1)
A tough one to call as LITTLE MILLIE and Timeforben cross swords once more. The first-named was the more determined the last time they met and is tipped to uphold the form. Rosie McQueen is very capable of holding her own in a race like this and edges preference over Jennifer Juniper as the best of the rest.
- Little Millie
- Timeforben
- Rosie McQueen
