Wincanton winner in early March but hardly looked the most enthusiastic throughout the contest (went in snatches/looked lazy). Turned in another good effort last time (went better) but hardly the most reliable sort.
Narrowly denied last time when taking the runner-up slot at Newton Abbot; would have been his third hurdles victory. Should be able to cope with the 4lb rise for that run and has the assistance of the champion jockey.
His qualifying runs showed that he did have ability although as didn't show that same ability on his handicap debut. That run came off an absence and over a longer trip so maybe he can be excused; needs to brush up his jumping.
Looks to have come back to form of late taking the runner-up slot in a couple of 2m handicaps. Now faces a longer trip and hasn't performed well over this far before and question marks over his chance for that reason.
Has yet to come anywhere near replicating his bumper form which was far better than anything he's shown over hurdles. Not one to give up on though as he goes in handicaps off a lowly mark; market watch advised.
A win in a Newton Abbot selling handicap last summer ended a long losing run that he had produced. His form since then has reverted to type though and he's struggled and that struggle is expected to continue here.
Capitalised on some improvement when landing his only hurdles win so far and he's not really looked like adding to that tally since. Wasn't on a going day when last seen over C&D; not one for maximum faith.
Produced a career-best to win over C&D in late-2016 but it's been a very in-and-out career since. Shaped better than her final placing last time (trip a little far) but no guarantee that she will build on this.
Finally took advantage of a mark that had fallen appreciably when winning a low-grade handicap hurdle at Bangor in April. Not in quite the same form next time although the 2m test could have been a little sharp.
Most of his form is poor although he was backed at long odds last time when cheekpieces went on for the first time. His effort quickly died though and he's not one to have tremendous faith in.

Forecasts
Bay Fortuna (5/2), Mr Mafia (3/1), Marble Moon (7/2), Bee An Aristocrat (4/1), Centreofexcellence (7/1), Barney From Tyanee (15/2), Kayf Charmer (12/1), Double Court (14/1), Aaryam (20/1), Parwich Lees (25/1), Taste The Wine (25/1)
The obvious call here is with the unpenalised Mr Mafia after he scored on his first run for his new yard and looks to have a good chance of making it 2/2 here. However, BAY FORTUNA took a big step forward last time and the booking of Richard Johnson would suggest that he’s well fancied to follow-up that run. Parwich Lees needs to jump better on his second handicap start but he can’t be written off to quickly and neither can handicap debutante Marble Moon and any money for him would be well worth noting. Barney From Tyanee isn’t straightforward but can’t be ignored and neither can Bee An Aristocrat is he can perform at this trip.
