Wind surgery and a tongue-tie appear to have played an active part in her improved form and she comes here seeking a hat-trick. Has to give away a double penalty though and that makes life a little harder; jumps left so track should suit.

Had looked a lost cause but managed to at least show a modicum of ability on her second start over hurdles. Finished 6th on that occasion after taking a strong hold.

Cost £20,000 as a three-year-old and has plenty of jumping relations in her pedigree> Might be worth keeping an eye on in the market; makes her debut.

Made very little impact when trained in Ireland over hurdles and when tried in bumpers. Has joined a good yard though and now hooded for her stable debut is worth noting if supported.
First foal of an unraced dam and hard to expect much from her on debut even in a weak heat like this.

Showed some ability in the three bumpers that she contested and offered something to work on from her hurdles debut. A late error hampered her progress when runner-up on that occasion and looks to have more to offer.

Her two bumper efforts were separated by nearly a year but she did show some promise in both those starts. Now goes over hurdles for the first time and this isn't a particularly taxing level at which to start.

11/1
Bumper winner who has looked limited in her AW Flat runs since that victory and now reverts to the jumping game going over hurdles for the first time. Based on her bumper win she can't be ruled out of the equation here.

The second debutante from this yard in the race whose dam was a 3m winner and a half-sister to the useful chaser Nadiya de La Vega. Looks likely to need the experience here.

Forecasts

Floral Bouquet (7/4), Papagana (4/1), Misty Bloom (4/1), Lily Of Leysbourne (9/2), Rosie Lea (11/1), Fred's Filly (14/1), Celtic Style (25/1), Incertaine (33/1), Viva La Vega (50/1), Maggieofthevalley (50/1)

Verdict

This isn’t a strong contest but Floral Bouquet might just have a problem conceding a double penalty here to the entire field and MISTY BLOOM is preferred. She ran well on her hurdles debut at Towcester and but for a late mistake may well have finished closer. Papagana showed some promise in her bumpers with Lily Of Leysbourne is worth watching in the market having joined a very capable yard.
  1. Misty Bloom
  2. Floral Bouquet
  3. Papagana
