Left Willie Mullins for £6,000 in November 2017 and has under-performed for his new connections, largely attributable to his reluctance to settle. Back over fences for the first time this calendar year.
Ran respectably back from a five plus month break at Hexham latest (2m good), finishing 14+L third to Endless Credit. Mixed messages as to the actual worth of that form since, but noteworthy as a ten-time winner from 55 starts.
Really thrived at Sedgefield since mid-February (2m) with form figures reading 1,1,2,1. 7lb above his last winning mark, but that's reduced by this talented riders 5lb claim. However, effectiveness on quick ground the question mark.
Not the most consistent, but does have more ability than he is often willing to deliver. Shaped like winning until backing out of it at Perth latest (2m good), so this lengthy run-in looks far from ideal.
Hasn't tasted success since July 2016 (for Dan Skelton) despite numerous attempts. Dropped 2lb for his latest run at Sedgefield (2m good), but entitled to strip fitter for that race; his first start since October 2017.
Finished two places (over 6L) in front of Dakota Grey when going down fighting to Alizee De Janeiro at Perth latest (2m good) and clearly enters calculations despite a 2lb higher mark. Remains a rules maiden, and has no previous Cartmel experience.
Consistently disappointing since leaving Nicky Henderson for £20,000 in May 2017 with no obvious signs of a revival likely. Remains a maiden over fences, but now 11lb lower than for his last try at Hexham in mid-October.
29 race maiden who competes from out of the weights, so not even the presence of first time blinkers is enough to offer hope or encouragement for today or the future.

Forecasts
Boss Des Mottes (7/2), Dakota Grey (7/2), Frankie Ballou (7/2), Motion To Strike (4/1), Chain Of Beacons (9/2), Civil Unrest (13/2), Clondaw Banker (12/1), New Kid In Town (16/1), Rapid Fritz (40/1)
Plenty of question marks against many of these horses, including Dakota Grey (resolution), Frankie Ballou (ground) and Clondaw Banker (still the force of old), so last year's head runner up BOSS DES MOTTES makes major appeal from a similar mark. He doesn't win all that often, but was perfectly entitled to need the run at Sedgefield recently and with forecast conditions favourable rates as the likeliest winner.
