Better effort last time at Bath on firm ground over this trip, beaten around 5L in fourth of eight. Chance dropping into selling company.

Nine-race maiden, has left Hughie Morrison since failing to justify favouritism in Brighton apprentice contest over this trip early in the month (finished tenth of 11). Array of headgear added.

Triple figure odds in pair of AW maidens at Wolverhampton (1m½f/1m4f) and never any credible threat. Unlikely winner on first turf start.

Six starts all on the AW have yet to show much promise. First turf start today but likely to find this tough going once more.

Dalakhani filly produced her best effort over this trip at Chelmsford on the AW, likely found 2m+ at Wolverhampton too far last time. Should be capable of a challenge in this company over the trip.

Footstepsinthesand colt, may appreciate this drop in trip having seemingly failed to get home over 1m4f at Brighton this month on fourth start (was in front at 2f marker).
Lawman filly beaten a long way over this trip at Windsor (good) this month on first start for Gary Moore (second overall). Hard to see her finding enough to land this despite the grade.

Forecasts

Strongarm Chaser (6/5), Manchego (5/2), Full Suit (11/4), Racehorse (9/2), Mulsanne Chase (16/1), Roman Saints (16/1), Billie Flynn (25/1), Slipalongtrevaskis (66/1)

Verdict

Strongarm Chaser looks a worthy contender dropped to this trip and should give his running but preference is for FULL SUIT, who produced the best of her efforts so far over this trip at Chelmsford on the AW and should go well under Oisin Murphy. Racehorse suggested at Bath she might stay this far and she represents a stable with a fine record in this grade.
  1. Full Suit
  2. Strongarm Chaser
  3. Racehorse
