Point-to-point winner last year and made a winning debut under rules in a soft ground Uttoxeter bumper in December. Faller at Fakenham this month when set to produce improved hurdling effort after wind op.
Fairly useful bumper/chase winner in France for Guillaume Macaire, has joined the champion trainer in familiar colours for British racecourse bow and big run seems likely.
Improved on second start over hurdles when ½L second at Newton Abbot (2m5½f, good) 10 days ago, though was always held by the winner. Should give another good account.
Flat maiden makes a sensational return after being absent since November 2012. Hard to believe he will be ready to do himself justice on first outing over timber. Sports a tongue tie.
Improved on hurdling debut when fifth at Fontwell (2m1½f, good to firm) this month but will likely need plenty more if hoping to open account here.
Forecasts
Dragon D'Estruval (4/5), Equus Flight (5/2), Don Des Fosses (4/1), General Allenby (12/1), Jalors (50/1)
The form shown in France is likely to prove more than enough for DRAGON D'ESTRUVAL to make a winning debut for the Seven Barrows team and he's likely to account for these rivals with something to spare. Don Des Fosses was running a better race at Fakenham recently before falling and can build on that with a clear round while Equus Flight and General Allenby have also got the suggestion of potential.
- Dragon D'Estruval
- Equus Flight
- Don Des Fosses
