Point-to-point winner who is yet to get off the mark under rules, and was pulled-up on chasing debut at this track last time out. New trainer now but should be better for the return to hurdles (engaged at Worcester 19:15 Friday).
Improving in three starts for this trainer since leaving Paul Nicholls, latest effort bringing 7¾L fifth of 13 at Huntingdon (2m, good) a fortnight ago.
25/1 runner-up on hurdles bow at Chepstow in a 2m soft-ground maiden, though unable to justify favouritism since at Stratford on better ground. Has to improve on that 6L defeat.
French import scored on the Flat at Newmarket over a mile last summer on good to soft going (rated 75 at the time). Makes hurdles debut off a break for new handler and market may offer some clues.
Bumper debut at Fontwell in August was full of promise, beaten a head into second, but not repeated that form in two starts since. Entitled to be fitter for Newton Abbot appearance this month, switches to hurdling for the first time.
Western gelding cost €65,000 and is a half-brother to winning point-to-pointer Thinking Out Loud. Never a threat on hurdles bow at Newton Abbot (2m2½f, soft) last month and didn't jump with complete fluency. Improvement needed.
Defied odds of 200/1 on hurdles bow at Taunton (2m½f, good) in April by finishing 4L third of 12, backed that up since at Wincanton when scoring with plenty in hand. Likely has big role to play here.
Not disgraced in three bumper runs last season, twice found a mile on the AW at Kempton too sharp in April. Makes hurdles bow and watching brief appears safest option.
Forecasts
Francky Du Berlais (13/8), Let's Sway (3/1), A Bold Move (7/2), Cap St Vincent (7/1), Rooster Cogburn (8/1), Lawmaking (14/1), Railroad Junkie (20/1), Floral Queen (33/1)
LET'S SWAY showed her placed effort at a massive price on hurdles debut to be no fluke when readily opening her account at Wincanton and, getting weight off her main rivals, can follow up this evening. A Bold Move hasn't delivered on his early promise but could have more to give for this latest trainer if turning up (engaged on Friday evening). Francky Du Berlais has a chance on his Chepstow effort while Lawmaking could be an interesting recruit from the Flat.
