Dual course winner last summer at up to 2m6f she ran a promising race back from six months off last time. Still looks to have a little work to do from this sort of mark she is a mildly progressive sort and should be respected as such.
Placed twice around here she slipped the field under today's rider to land a decent prize at Aintree last October (made use of a falling mark). Has been ridden the same way in two starts since but without the same result (ran out last time).
Has been chasing of late and has shown some useful form despite looking at times an awkward ride (can run in snatches). Now reverts to hurdles having not been seen over them since October; beaten before off this mark though.
Her career appears back on track after her last two starts which have seen her bump into a couple of unexposed/progressive rivals. Runner-up both times, she should be capable of getting involved here off her current mark.
Both her wins here have come over fences forming part of a purple patch last spring/summer which saw her win five times. Not knocked about on her return over fences, she has won off a 6lb higher mark in that sphere; now back over hurdles.
Her form took a leap forward last time although there is a suspicion that she was suited by the run of the race (held up; strong pace and pounced late). Might be a little quirky and will need the same scenario to operate in here off 6lb higher.
Worth watching for her antics at the start but runs soundly enough when/if she jumps off. Below form last time out though and it is very much a question which side of the bed she got out of as to how she runs.
Forecasts
River Icon (7/4), Final Reminder (7/2), Same Circus (5/1), Champagne To Go (7/1), Bon Chic (15/2), Camillas Wish (9/1), Wyfield Rose (16/1)
There could be some fun and games in this before we even start and straightforward types are at a premium in this although it should be run at a sound pace with Bon Chic, Same Circus and Wyfield Rose (if she starts) all likely to go forward. A strong pace would suit Final Reminder but Champagne To Go and River Icon make far more appeal as the two to concentrate on here to fight out the finish.
