Off the mark at Kempton last time out when taking a good step forward from his hurdling debut. Carries a penalty here, but the step up in trip shouldn't be an issue and further improvement is a distinct possibility.
Clear and somewhat unexpected winner on hurdling debut at Exeter last time out. Penalised here but interesting to see if he can back up that run with another big effort.
Placed, but still well beaten on debut at Huntingdon last time out, but entitled to improve for the run and wears a first-time tongue strap here.
Runner-up in both a point-to-point and a bumper, but form over hurdles so far means he looks likely to develop into a handicap chaser in time and has limitations in this sphere.
Never a factor on racecourse debut at Southwell last time out, and others appeal more even though improvement is certainly possible.
Last of all in both of his bumpers, and impossible to build a case for on chase debut having switched to this yard.
Only previous run came in a Taunton bumper in December 2015, and can only be watched on hurdles debut in a first-time tongue strap.
Improved on his second start over hurdles at Warwick last time out, but needs to progress again to threaten here and unraced on ground better than soft.
Has shown little in three starts over hurdles and a point-to-point so far, and unlikely to play a part in this based on that evidence.

This could be between the two previous winners in the field, Rebel Royal and WHITLEY NEILL. Though they both have to carry penalties they both impressed in their own way when getting off the mark, with the latter just edging preference given he looks to have less improvement to find to defy this bigger weight. Of the maidens, Earth Leader may be on the premises if avoiding running out like he did on hurdles debut last time.
