Forecasts

Mutawaffer (5/4), Li Kui (4/1), Dancing Speed (4/1), Siam Dawn (8/1), Memento (8/1), Greenback Boogie (14/1), Pirate (20/1), Shaybani (33/1), Golden Force (33/1), Smith (33/1), Recuerdame (66/1), Mr Fox (150/1)

Verdict

A highly competitive opener to the three-day meeting and a race that saw Godolphin's Masar win on debut last year before going to bigger and better things as a three-year-old. MEMENTO could be the one to side with this time around if ready to go on debut given his mare was a winner of the Prix de l'Abbaye. Mutawaffer has a run under his belt and has to be of interest if he improves for that effort at Ascot. Clive Cox does well with his juveniles and Golden Force is an interesting debutante.
