Off time: 17:22 | Winning time: 3m 47.60s

Storm Fire³³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Lorcan Williams⁽⁷⁾| T: B Barr

66/1

Showed very little on his bumper debut at Fontwell over a shorter trip and despite a decent pedigree he looks of limited ability.

Form: 0-

Huntsmans Jog

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Bryony Le Clerc⁽³⁾| T: D E Cantillon

11/8

Bumper debutante from a yard which can get one ready first-time up but are not known for their bumper winners (1/20 last five years). Closely related to a couple of bumper winners and one to watch in the market.

Form:

Avonmore^h1

Age: 5| Weight: 10-9| J: Alan Doyle⁽⁷⁾| T: N J Henderson

6/1

Yard have a 24% bumper strike-rate in the last five years and are already off the mark this season. This debutante is a half-sister to a bumper winner out of an unraced mare who is hooded for her debut who has to be respected given connections.

Form:

Delayed Reaction¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 10-9| J: Miss K Evans⁽⁷⁾| T: P Hedger

50/1

Well held in two bumpers so far at Towcester and Huntingdon doing little better on the second occasion than she did on her debut.

Form: 0-7

Barbados Blue

Age: 4| Weight: 10-5| J: James Bowen⁽³⁾| T: N J Henderson

1/1

One of two runners for a leading trainer in this sphere who looks the pick of the duo on jockey bookings. Cost €40,000 as a three-year-old with some useful relations in her pedigree including Big Buck's on the distaff side.

Form:

Pharaway View³³

Age: 4| Weight: 10-5| J: Harry Stock⁽⁵⁾| T: D G Bridgwater

50/1

Trainer 1/35 in this sphere in the last five seasons and this one looked very much one for the longer term on her Fontwell debut. She did have Storm Fire behind her there and should beat that one home again.

Form: 8-

Forecasts

Barbados Blue (1/1), Huntsmans Jog (11/8), Avonmore (6/1), Delayed Reaction (50/1), Pharaway View (50/1), Storm Fire (66/1)

Not much of a finale and Nicky Henderson is expected to hold the key to this and the market will be useful to split his unraced pair BARBADOS BLUE and Avonmore with preference for the former on the current jockey bookings. Huntsmans Jog looks to be the only one capable of troubling that pair with the three that have raced so far looking of limited ability.
