Irish point-to-point winner who showed up well over hurdles here recently (2m7f+) when beaten 1½L by Sporting Milan (McGinty's Dream fourth) and looks just the type to do even better now switched to fences.
Didn't fare too badly on chasing debut here earlier this month (2m4f), finishing a never nearer 26L fifth to Loch Linnhe. Needs to find improvement, but this new trip could prove the catalyst representing an in-form trainer.
Off the track since July 2016 and already 0 from 13 under rules, so it'll rate as a monumental training performance if he's the solution to this puzzle.
Runner up over 3m at Wetherby on Boxing Day (soft), but has disappointed since and is 0 from 16 over fences so clearly a risky proposition. However, on the plus side was beaten just 4½L by Hattons Hill in this in 2017 from an 8lb higher mark.
Still a maiden and sits outside of the weights, but isn't fully exposed over fences after just four starts; finishing 1¾L second to Dun Faw Good at Musselburgh (3m good to soft) latest.
Essentially is an exposed seven race fences maiden who ideally needs some cut in the ground in order to put his best foot forward; and he won't get that tonight. Plenty on with Rising Marienbard on course hurdles form.
RISING MARIENBARD has the potential to be a fair bit better over fences than over hurdles, and this half-brother to the 3m-3m5f winning chaser Maid In Moscow has what must rate as a fairly easy introduction to the larger obstacles. He arrives fit and well after a pleasing effort over hurdles here earlier this month, and can make a winning start at the expense of the lowly weighted Robins Legend.
