His hurdles attempts proved unproductive but he's shown in two outings on the Flat that he retains his ability in this sphere. Looked unlucky at Windsor last time out when hampered late on and finished with running left in him.
Produces his best form on the Fibresand and ran poorly on turf last time out at Salisbury over 1m2f on heavy ground. Both his wins have come on the unique Southwell surface and it's hard to see him involved back up in trip on turf.
Ran with credit last time and is fairly consistent on the Flat. However, he's still not won on the Flat in GB and even with the run of the race at Bath last time over a similar trip he couldn't get the job done.
Looked unsuited by conditions over C&D last time (heavy ground) with cheekpieces on for the first time and that run is probably best ignored. Both his wins have come on the AW so far but he should be suited by better ground this time.
Not seen for quite some while she was making her turf debut when last sighted at Doncaster battling on having led all the way for a game win. Returns now off a 6lb higher mark although she still looks unexposed; yard's horses rarely lack fitness.
Not seen on the Flat since the end of last year he's shown some fairly useful form over hurdles in the interim. Now back on the Flat off the same mark as when last seen this trip does look a little on the short side.
A maiden on the Flat (dual hurdles scorer) this will be her second run back from wind surgery and she looked to need the run last time over his trip at Wolverhampton. Usually likes to race prominently and this run may tell us more about her.
Steadily regressive for Amanda Perrett his last two starts for that yard showed his suspect nature off perfectly. Makes his stable debut here with the cheekpieces retained but doesn't look one to trust.

Forecasts
Bid Adieu (9/4), Volpone Jelois (5/2), Phoenix Dawn (5/1), Cape Banjo (7/1), The Last Debutante (7/1), Tyrolean (10/1), Sonnetist (14/1), What A Scorcher (16/1), Red Emperor (33/1)
This looks as though it could give BID ADIEU a chance to atone for a rather luckless run at Windsor last time and he drops down in grade here and that could be the catalyst for him to gain a deserved win. The Last Debutante is still unexposed and coming from the Mark Johnston yard the long break since her last run and win isn’t expected to be a problem along she may face competition for the lead from Volpone Jelois who is a consistent sort. Tyeolean could well get involved here on this better ground with Cape Banjo another of interest back on a better surface.
