Already making hay on the AW this year with four wins to her name (all at Wolverhampton) at up to 1m4f with her mark having risen in line with that success. This will be her first turf run for this yard but she still looks in good heart.

Taken a fair while to get off the mark but did so last time out at Yarmouth (1m2f, firm) producing something near a career best. Win by 4L but it was a weak contest and she might find this a little tougher under a 6lb penalty.

Looking at a long losing run with this one and she was well beaten behind Sunshineandbubbles when last seen and hard to see that form being reversed. Runs off a higher mark on turf and best left alone here.

Appears suited by a well-run contest over this trip and got that when she won at Sandown in September in a similar grade. Tried over further (1m4f) in her one later start but that looked to stretch and now back from a break off the same mark.

Most of her form when she was with the Channon team was modest and it was much the same story on her first (and only start so far) for this yard. Wasn't well placed in a first-time hood but stretching a point to make a case for her.

The only course winner in the field she shaped as though she would be better for the run after six months off last time. Faces different conditions here to last time (heavy) but showed that she can cope and has won on much quicker ground.

Only modest but has looked to be resurgent of late winning for just the second time in her career at Lingfield last time over this trip. Not certain to follow-up and hold her form but her previous win came off a higher mark so not written off.

Forecasts

Midnight Mood (2/1), Iconic Belle (9/4), Sunshineandbubbles (4/1), Zaria (8/1), Delirium (9/1), Tenby Two (14/1), Dora's Field (16/1), Weardiditallgorong (20/1)

Verdict

For all that ICONIC BELLE might find this tougher than her last win the Channon team remain in excellent form and they may well be right here to strike while the iron is hot. Sunshineandbubbles has been in terrific form already this year but now has to prove that she can produce the goods on turf with Zaria another to throw into the mix around a course where she’s won three times before over a shorter trip. Midnight Mood is unlikely to be far away if she repeats her form of last time and whilst that’s no sure thing she is still well treated.
  1. Iconic Belle
  2. Sunshineandbubbles
  3. Midnight Mood
