Won on debut as a juvenile then highly tried for much of last term before disappointing in handicap company. Hasn't shown much at all in two starts this campaign, dropped 4lb and down in trip but looks up against it.
Two wins from her last three starts last autumn but hasn't been in the same form so far this season and made no show over 1m2f at Beverley last time. Better at this trip but has questions to answer.
Standing dish at Wolverhampton AW this winter, eventually winning there last month and not beaten far on return visit last time out. Has won here over 7f and loks fairly handicapped on turf return. Not without a chance and fitness guaranteed.
Goes well at Beverley but a mile on fast ground looks ideal and should be fit now after a decent run on the Westwood last time out. Worth noting any market interest from shrewd yard.
Scraped home in Catterick 7f maiden on racecourse debut last year but has been a bit disappointing in four starts since. Has been tried at between 7f-9f so this median trip may be best but doesn't look easy to figure.
Veteran mare has scored eight career successes but without a win since July 2016. Very well handicapped on best of old form but not certain the ability is there any longer.
Showed nothing in five starts for Tony Carroll and was a very long last on debut for new connections at Thirsk last August. Not seen since and looks outclassed.
Forecasts
La Sioux (5/2), Make On Madam (3/1), Beatbybeatbybeat (3/1), Ce La Vie (15/2), Cabal (8/1), Kilbaha Lady (10/1), Rojina (33/1), Lilly Ballerina (125/1)
There are doubts about all of these so by a process of elimination a chance is taken on MAKE ON MADAM in a wide open affair. Beatbybeatbybeat has been very busy on the AW and will undoubtedly be fit, and a revival in fortunes is by no means out of the question for La Sioux. Old girl Cabal has been given a chance by the handicapper, and a return to form for Kilbaha Lady is not ruled out.
