Successful on good-to-soft ground at Musselburgh over 1m at two and ran well when 3L third here over C&D on heavy ground when making his seasonal debut last month. One to note in this contest.
Career best effort came when finishing runner-up over 1m2f at Goodwood (soft) on his final start at two. Gelded since and stepping up in trip on seasonal and handicap debut.
Seven race maiden but finished runner-up four times including when a short-head second over 1m4f at York (good-to-firm) last week. Likely to prove hard to beat on this occasion.
Has run well in five starts so far this year most recently when 3L third at Wetherby (1m2f, good-to-soft) earlier this month. Likely more needed if he's to take this stepping up in distance.
