Successful over this trip on debut at Lingfield in March but disappointed at Newmarket (1m2f, good) in first time cheekpieces (retained) subsequently. Return to this trip in his favour.
Made a winning debut in a 1m2f novice contest at Newcastle earlier this month. Interesting to see how he fares stepping up in distance.

Slowly away but caught the eye with some decent late progress when finishing sixth on debut at Windsor (1m2f, good) three weeks ago. One to note stepping up in trip.

Well held in two starts in maiden company so far including over 1m3f at Newbury (good-to-soft) last time. Others make more appeal.

Struggled in two outings to date including over this distance on debut last month. Others have a more obvious chance in this contest.

Beaten 14L into third over this trip on debut at Ripon (soft) last month and finished runner-up in a three runner contest subsequently. Interesting runner here.

Improved effort in finishing runner-up at Chelmsford on his first try over 1m2f earlier this month. Shapes as if this trip will suit.

Well beaten in two starts at two and probably best watched stepping up markedly in trip on her seasonal debut.

Forecasts

Celestial Force (2/1), Temur Khan (5/2), African Jazz (4/1), Kittileo (7/1), Al Emarat (11/1), Chiave Di Volta (14/1), In Demand (20/1), Angel Carlotta (100/1)

Verdict

TEMUR KHAN looks likely to improve for the step up in trip and he is taken to break his maiden at the third time of asking in this novice contest. Hugo Palmer's charge ran well on the AW last time out and can get the better of African Jazz who should appreciate the return to this distance having disappointed over shorter last time out. Al Emarat is taken to claim third on his first attempt at this trip.
  1. Temur Khan
  2. African Jazz
  3. Al Emarat
