Progressing well with three wins from eight starts on the AW but hard to know what to expect from him on turf debut. Market may well indicated if he's fancied.
Seems better on the AW that turf with two successes both coming on an artifical surface. Not disgraced at Bath last time though so may not be too far away.
Won atGoodwood last term over this trip off 2lb lower mark and stayed on into closing fourth at Wolverhampton last time out. Seems to be running into form and is worth considering.
Hasn't win since November 2016 and last turf win came at Leicester in 2015 off a mark of 83. 10lb lower now but doesn't jump off the page as a winner-in-waiting.
Beaten a head over C&D at this meeting 12 months ago but failed to build on that despite some respectable efforts. Has been given a chance by the handicapper and wears first-time blinkers so looks an interesting candidate.
Mainly campaigned on the AW and has not been in great form of late. Only turf run was far from a disaster but on balance others make more appeal on this occasion.
2-24 career starts and wins have come at 7f and 1m. Not shown much in recent starts on AW, pulling hard last time. May be allowed to bowl along in front but unlikely to stay there on current evidence.
Won twice of late at Kempton AW at 7f and this consistent performer is worth a try back sprinting. Good apprentice on board and a bold show by no means out of the question.
One time useful performer whose last win came in listed company in May 2014 at Newbury over this trip when rated 106. Light of former days though and runs here off 68 having run poorly in four starts since last summer. Hard to recommend.
Broke his duck at the 15th time of asking when popping up to score at Wolverhampton last time. 3lb hgher now and seems better on AW although has respectable placed form on turf off higher marks in the past.

Poet's Princess (11/4), Red Alert (6/1), Jack The Truth (6/1), Coverham (13/2), Royal Mezyan (8/1), Invincible Ridge (8/1), Danecase (9/1), Briyouni (9/1), Tawaafoq (12/1), Toriano (25/1), Musical Comedy (25/1)
POET'S PRINCESS might be the answer to this finale in which there are question marks hanging over just about every one of the 11 runners. The first-time blinkers should help and she went very close at this fixture last year. Jack The Truth has a chance if transferring his recent AW form to the turf, and Coverham is another who should be on the premises. Tawaafoq finally got his nose in front last time and that may have boosted his confidence and see him run well again.
- Poet's Princess
- Tawaafoq
- Coverham
