Returned from a short layoff to score at the Curragh (5f, yielding to soft) last week, 7lb higher now but far from out of this going up in trip and in good tune based on previous form.
Filly ran well enough in 30-runner apprentice contest at the Curragh last week over 7f. Likely she'll find this ground much more to her liking and very much one to note dropped 1lb.
Strong run on first start for new handler off this mark on the AW at Dundalk last time out, well capable of a challenge back on turf if building on that run.
Well enough held in a maiden here last time, tongue tie added now going handicapping for the first time. Not thrown in but scope to improve on just a fourth start.
Filly was progressive last season in notching three wins. Handicapper has offered a chance now after ending last term in firm control.
Showed plenty promise in maidens last year at in and around this trip, entitled to have needed the run last week at the Curragh and any improvement on that effort would see her challenging here.
No win since 2014, though ran some promising races during 2017 from much higher marks than this. Returns from a break and not discounted.
Has suffered from an inflated handicap mark so far, though starting to look more realistic now. Was poor over hurdles in December when last spotted.
Now eight-years-old and no win on turf since September 2015 at Fairyhouse (6f, good). Beaten 8L over 5f at the Curragh last week but should be better suited up in trip on better ground.
Tends to do well here with two wins and a second from four course visits, both wins were over 5f, while runner-up in April 2017 (most recent visit) was over 6f. Rated to have every chance if recapturing form here off a layoff.
Couple of AW wins at Dundalk this spring, hasn't looked like scoring in six previous turf spins but cannot be discounted in current form. Well beaten at the Curragh last week behind some of these.
Footstepsinthesand filly showed some promise last year when trained by Brendan Duke, first start for new handler and on a very workable mark if showing her best form.
Walked home over 7f here last month on second start for this trainer, blinkers added now, needs peak form to grab share of prizemoney.
Mare has been unconvincing for majority of six runs so far, over a variety of trips. Hard to fancy, despite fact her best effort came here on good to form over 6f a year ago.

DANDYS GOLD ran a promising race in a big-field apprentice handicap at the Curragh and with the pre-held suspicion that she'd need a better surface to be seen to best effect, is taken to build on that run and collect today. Brave Display scored over a shorter trip at that same venue last week and is still on a workable mark relative to old form now while Littlevix should be in the mix if improving for her Curragh run. Handicap debutant Aubineau and course specialist A Few Dollars More are also worth considering.
- Dandys Gold
- Brave Display
- A Few Dollars More
