Clearly won't ever make a chaser, so you can totally dismiss his latest effort at Hexham earlier this month. High in the weights over hurdles, but is a previous C&D winner (June 2016) and will appreciate these conditions.
Not won since October 2016, but continues to run his usual solid race and went down by just a short-head to Tyrell at Ayr recently (3m good) so is much respected.
His sole success in six starts between the flags came on good ground (April 2017), and he has made a pleasing start for his new connections. Beaten 17L by Blue Flight over C&D last month (maiden) and now goes handicapping.
Back from a 16 month break (stable debut) with a solid effort over 2m here recently (soft), finishing just over 7L third to Morning With Ivan. Upped noticeably in trip, but has to prove himself on quicker ground (untested).
Won from a 3lb lower mark at Hexham in June 2017 (2m good), but has never won beyond 2m previously, or away from that Northumberland venue. Off since early November, but stable really beginning to fire this week.
Perth specialist who is lurking on a handy mark. Versatile between 2m-2m4f on good/good to soft ground. Had a recent fitness sharpener at Hexham, so everything appears primed for a much improved effort.
A reasonably talented novice for Nicky Richards in early 2017 (2m Ayr winner), but has laboured consistently over the past 12 months or so falling to a career low mark. Cheek-pieces applied today.

Traditional Dancer (13/8), Elmono (3/1), Craiganboy (6/1), Glingerside (15/2), Green Zone (15/2), Lovely Schtuff (8/1), Buckled (9/1), Desert Island Dusk (12/1)
A race in which you'd probably be reluctant to dismiss all that many of the field for one reason or another including Green Zone (course form), Desert Island Dusk (stable form) and Glingerside (headgear/career low mark), but the pair to concentrate upon are Traditional Dancer and ELMONO. The selection has to prove himself on today's quicker ground, but looks to be a winner waiting to happen for new trainer Lucinda Russell, so he's worthy of small stakes now upped in trip.
- Elmono
- Traditional Dancer
- Green Zone
