Kelso handicap hurdle winner on heavy ground over 3m2f in January but disappointing since and is dropping in trip on this occasion.
Placed over an extended 2m5f in a Kelso (soft) handicap chase in January but took a heavy fall last time. Reverts to hurdles off a mark 1lb higher than for his most recent victory.
Made a winning debut for this yard when taking a handicap hurdle over 3m at Wetherby (good-to-soft) in December 2016. Had just two starts since and probably best watched on his first outing since December.
Finished runner-up in a Fakenham (2m4f, soft) novice hurdle in February but was well beaten on handicap debut subsequently. Better effort back in a novice last time and he remains of interest.
C&D winner on good ground in September 2016 but had just three starts subsequently and absent since finishing a well held sixth over fences here in April last year.
Stepped up on previous efforts in 2018 when finishing 7L third over an extended 3m at Ayr (good) last time out. Interesting racing off the same mark in this.
Recorded his second victory over hurdles when winning over 2m4f on soft ground here last month. Finished in the frame on both starts for this yard and is one for the shortlist despite racing off a 6lb higher mark this time.
Successful five times in 40 outings under rules but well over two years since his latest victory. Well handicapped as a result and worth a check in the market in this contest.
Sole success came over an extended 2m6f at Kelso (good) last October. Held over 2m4f here last time out and more needed if she's to take this.
Had wind surgery during the winter and improved on her return to action when finishing fourth over 2m4f on soft ground here last time out. Has won over 3m3f in the past.
Took this race two years ago and finished a neck second on soft ground over C&D last time out. Raised 6lb for that effort and is one to note receiving weight from all of his rivals in this contest.
