His love affair with Southwell continued last time, racking up his fourth win here with another gutsy display from the front. Trip and ground ideal again and if shaking opposition off early, will be hard to peg back.
Handicap hurdle winner for David Pipe back in the day but well beaten by Galway Jack the last time they met and appears on the downgrade these days.
Consistent low-grade handicap chaser for David Bridgwater at his best but well beaten in three point-to-points coming back off along absence this year. No realistic chance.
Tearaway front-runner for Martin Keighley in his pomp and still uses that run style in point-to-points. Trip and ground ideal and may be fitter after a couple of recent outings. Chance if getting loose on the front end.
Useful hurdler/chaser for Arthur Moore at his peak, may not have achieved much when second at Alnwick on first start for yard in April and then pulled up subsequent start. Plenty to prove now.
Grand old stick that tries hard, contested his usual race at the Cheltenham Hunter chase evening recently and finished his race off nicely for third. Trip and ground fine and may well take a medal home.
Three times a point-to-point winner at a lower level than today, those wins coming last year but has done little recently to suggest she's up to challenging the main protagonists tonight.

Galway Jack (1/3), Pass The Hat (13/2), Sam Cavallaro (8/1), Such A Legend (10/1), Johnny Og (16/1), Martha's Benefit (25/1), Bambi Du Noyer (28/1), Bawden Rocks (80/1)
GALWAY JACK looked vulnerable under a host of challengers here last time but he stuck his neck out in most game fashion to win. He faces competition for the lead here tonight but holds a bit of a class advantage and can come out on top again. He'll need to keep Johnny Og in his sights as he looks sure to set a fierce gallop and on occasions can keep it going. Sam Cavallaro could be the one to benefit if they go too fast up front.
