Better effort at Limerick last time over hurdles on fourth start for this handler, first outing on the Flat in this country and needs peak-performance seemingly from this mark.
Lightly-raced on the Flat, winning a 1m5f Navan maiden in October when last spotted. Fit from recent hurdles outing at Punchestown and yard in cracking form (8-31) ahead of handicap debut.
Gelding by New Approach, rated in mid-90s on the Flat for Godolphin and trainer Saeed bin Suroor, though didn't live up to the billing. Poor in three starts for this yard, tongue tie added here. Questions to be answered.
Formerly trained by Mark Johnston, winning over 1m6f at Lingfield (good to firm) off a mark of 70. Has shown smart form in novice hurdles for this trainer and champion jockey booked now back on the Flat.
Course winner over 1m6f in August last year (4lb higher now), unfancied in betting and ran poor race last week at Roscommon last week on seasonal bow. Would need to see some positives in the market to like here.
Sole win (from 12 starts) came in Ulster Cesarewitch at Down Royal in September off a mark of 67. That was also his only run beyond 1m6f on the level. Had a pipe-opener at Cork 10 days ago and interesting to see if any money arrives here.
Without a win in 10 starts on the Flat, has twice scored over hurdles so will have the stamina for this test but returns from 239 days off and has been supported in the past for shrewd trainer.
Sightings of promise last spring in two Flat starts over 1m5f before disappointing in a C&D handicap in July. Will need to improve to figure having been off since October but is rated 5lb lower returning to this track.
Most recent second in 2m Limerick handicap hurdle was his best work by some distance since arriving from France, tongue strap on for first time on the Flat now and one to monitor closely on back of that improved showing.
Maiden on the Flat but has won three times over timber since last being spotted in this sphere in 2016. Made the track only four times last year. Handicap mark is a low one now, coupled with a big claim. Not without chance.

Forecasts
Scarpeta (2/5), Great Trango (6/1), Art Of Security (7/1), Sil Ver Klass (7/1), Jan Van Eyck (8/1), Mountain Rock (10/1), Prince Charmin' (12/1), Linger (14/1), Nelson Road (16/1), Percy Veer (20/1), Denham Sound (25/1), Emperor Waltz (33/1), Important Message (66/1)
SCARPETA has quickly developed into a smart novice over timber for Willie Mullins and could be underestimated back on the level off a mark of 75 with champion jockey Colin Keane booked for the steer. Nelson Road has only scored once in a dozen starts on the Flat but, interestingly, it was also the only occasion he tackled this sort of trip. He's feasibly treated from 1lb higher than his Down Royal winning mark after a pipe-opener last week. Art Of Security represents the in-form Meade yard and can go well while Sil Ver Klass is worth some attention following an improved hurdles run at Limerick.
