Trans Island mare who has shown nothing in one point to point and on her recent hurdles debut at Stratford. Not hard to overlook and appears outclassed.

Winning point to pointer and ran better on most recent start over timber when staying on to be sixth of 18 at Warwick last month over this trip. Should find a race along the way but may find a few too good on this occasion.
Has won two of her last four point to points and look an interesting recruit. Champion jockey booked for his old weighing room colleague so signs are good that a bold show is anticipated on hurdles bow.
Showed little in three bumpers for Diana Grissell and it has been a similar story for her new yard, including in a bumper here last month. Hard to fancy on that evidence and may struggle.

Placed in two bumpers last season and ran well to be placed at both Huntingdon and Market Rasen over hurdles in recent months. Can be forgiven pulling up last time in heavy ground and rates a danger if back to her best form.

150/1 fourth of 16 on hurdles debut at Huntingdon in March then occupied same position at same track last month. Can win a race but may find one or two too good on this occasion.
Nicely bred mare whose dam is a full sister to Blue Royal, third in a Champion Hurdle. Promise in bumpers at Kempton and Towcester this winter so certainly worth a check for any market move on hurdles debut.

Forecasts

Queen's Magic (6/4), Massini's Dream (7/4), Shazzamataz (2/1), Potters Sapphire (11/4), Gortnagirl (12/1), Thank You Before (16/1), Miss Malarky (100/1), Carried Away (150/1)

Verdict

Quite an interesting little race in which narrow preference is for MASSINI'S DREAM who has shown ability between the flags and has the champion jockey on board for her hurdles debut. Both Potter's Sapphire and Queen's Magic could be dangers having already shown ability, and Gary Moore's Thank You Before is another who may do well over timber.
  1. Massini's Dream
  2. Potters Sapphire
  3. Queen's Magic
