Up 4lb for winning over this trip at Wolverhampton last time out. Also acts on turf and very interesting jockey booking, so he has to be strongly considered.

Remains a maiden, though second in six of his last seven races. Looking tough to win with and likely to find one or two too good once again now back on turf.

Won nicely when stepping up in trip at Chelmsford last time out, and though he's gone up 5lb there's every chance this additional distance should see him to better effect once again.

Yet to get off the mark in 21 attempts on the Flat (both turf and AW), and difficult to see that changing despite outrunning his odds at Epsom last time out.

Won off a higher mark than this last campaign but recent performances suggest a big return to form is needed if he is to have any sort of impact in this.

Forecast

Mancini (11/10), Master Archer (5/2), Western Way (4/1), Fitzwilly (10/1), Ardamir (14/1)

Verdict

Master Archer has finished second in six of his last seven outings but remains a maiden and may find a couple too good again. WESTERN WAY has won multiple races on the AW over the winter but also acts on turf, and up 4lb for winning at Wolverhampton last time out he should be able to remain competitive with Frankie Dettori booked. Mancini is another returning to turf from the AW and could be the one to follow him home.
